I was commissioned to produce conceptual, artistic photographs for the Dior Prestige Product Release in the USA. The client especially wanted the imagery to highlight the creme's breakthrough formula given the unique qualities of the Rose de Granville ingredient. I began with the product's weightlessness - both in terms of the bottle's physical weight and the creme's ability to lift the weight of aging. With that conceptual framework in place, I constructed three sequential scenes that show the product moving up through space: first, in flowing waters; second, soaring over fields; and third, rising into someplace imaginary...like a world with pink clouds. Each image alludes to the rose either physically or in color.
