THE ASK

I was asked to highlight the launch of Baskin-Robbins’ new Sundae Shakes treat—a delectable combination of ice cream and toppings atop a custom milkshake. Intrigued by the name of this treat, I thought: “What if the ice cream could do the shake? As in dance?” I leveraged vintage records and mid-century disco scenes for inspiration for the set design. The final deliverable was a 15-second stop-motion animation (composed of over 500 images!) showing how the Sundae Shakes quite literally do the shake.
